What does air-gapped mean?
Passport communicates via QR codes and NFC — no direct USB data connection to your computer is required. This eliminates remote attack vectors.
Bitcoin only — no altcoins?
Correct. Passport Prime is intentionally Bitcoin-only, reducing the attack surface. Third-party apps (like Cake Wallet) can extend functionality.
How does the NFC KeyCard backup work?
Your seed is encrypted and written to the included NFC KeyCards. To restore, simply tap a KeyCard on a new Passport. No need to manually enter 24 words.
