This air filter with integrated PPI10 filter foam was developed specifically for use on external inline fans. The filter is mounted directly at the intake point of the inline fan and reliably prevents dust, dirt, pet hair and fine particles from entering the ventilation system and subsequently the connected hardware. Especially in dusty environments such as attics, basements or workshops, the filter plays a major part in keeping the equipment clean and ensuring stable cooling over the long term.
The PPI10 filter foam used has a coarse-pored, open structure and offers an optimal balance between airflow and filtering performance. Unlike simple mesh or grille filters, dust is not only caught on the surface but bound within the pore structure. As a result, significantly fewer particles reach the fans, heat sinks and air ducts, which reduces deposits and improves cooling efficiency in the long run.
A clean airflow is crucial for the service life and reliability of the connected equipment. Thanks to the reduced dust load, heat sinks stay clear for longer, fans run quieter and wear caused by dirt particles is minimized. This helps to maintain constant temperatures, extend maintenance intervals and ensure stable operation.
The filter foam is washable, reusable and designed for permanent use. Depending on the dust load, the filter can simply be cleaned with water, dried and used again without losing its filtering properties. This makes the filter ideal for continuously operated ventilation systems as well as for all applications where reliable and low-maintenance air filtering is required.
