The Bitaxe is a compact, open-source Bitcoin miner based on a single ASIC chip. At ~15 watts and with built-in WiFi, it's the easiest way to start Bitcoin mining – quiet enough for your desk, efficient enough for 24/7 operation.
Solo Mining with the Bitaxe
The Bitaxe is designed for solo mining: connect it to a solo mining pool and you have a chance of finding a full block. The odds are low, but the reward would be a full block subsidy. Models
We carry several Bitaxe models with different ASIC chips and hashrates – currently the Gamma line (601, 602, 603) with 1.3 to 1.54 TH/s. Depending on the model, power draw ranges from 15 to 25 watts. All Bitaxe run AxeOS – a web-based firmware you configure right in your browser.

How much does a Bitaxe earn?

Does the Bitaxe need a fan shroud?
No, the Bitaxe is quiet enough for desk use. Fan shrouds are designed for large ASIC miners like Antminer and Whatsminer.
Is the Bitaxe open source?
Yes, both hardware and firmware are fully open source. You can compile and customize the firmware yourself.
